“Britney wasn’t the first to know about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, but she’s trying to show her sister that she supports her. That’s great, but at the same time we’re worried,” said one industry insider. “Jamie Lynn always liked to do everything with Britney, but as untimely as this pregnancy is, Britney is probably happy that their kids will be close in age and they can raise them together.”
A sisterly bond brought about by an unplanned pregnancy is one thing, but those close to Jamie Lynn are afraid she’s reconsidering her decision to raise her little one in Louisiana. “The longer she’s around Britney and bonding over this, the harder it’s going to be for her to leave and go back to Louisiana like she says she will,” said a family friend. “It isn’t hard to imagine what trouble she could get into if she gets too close to Britney right now.”
Tara Reid: Fallen and can’t get up?
Hey, Tara Reid, the world is really worried about you. You appear to have lost too much weight, become too tan, and now there’s word you took a tumble in Australia and had to be rushed to a hospital?

“The day after her supposed accident, she was actually doing an OK! photo shoot in Bali,” said a friend. Reid confirms: “The Bali shoot went amazing. I slipped at the pool and saw a doctor but I’m fine.” Mystery solved. Now you can get on with your holiday.
Weekend box office
Competition is going to be tight this weekend. On Friday, Dec. 21, five movies will open, including war drama “Charlie Wilson’s War,” starring Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks. (Just asking: Did “war drama” always exist as a genre? Didn’t we just call these movies “dramas” before? What’s next? “Divorce drama,” “disease and die an early death” drama? You get the idea.)
Also, there’s Nicolas Cage’s adventure flick “National Treasure: Book of Secrets”; Hilary Swank’s new date movie “P.S. I Love You,” which looks cute but could get lost in the shuffle; music-biopic parody “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story”; and potential Oscar favorite “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”
My prediction: “I am Legend” will continue its reign over the box office. Between the number of people who didn’t get tickets to the film last weekend and those who are attracted to it because of its buzz, it’s sure to do well this holiday weekend, too.
