NEW YORK - Like a line from Shakespeare, radio shock jock Howard Stern has claimed Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have “put a plague” on the block the three superstars cohabitate.

Stern told his Sirius radio audience that the celebrity couple, who are reportedly residing in the same Upper West Side block he lives on, have brought hoards of paparazzi to the area, determined to capture Affleck and Garner’s every move.

Garner is currently starring on Broadway in “Cyrano De Bergerac,” and Stern said their temporary residency is getting to him.

“It’s unbelievable,” the NY Post reported Stern as saying. “Now I know why co-ops block famous people from getting into buildings.”

Stern reportedly gets details on the couple from his doorman, but despite the gossip, he is anxious for their departure.

Stern also reportedly questioned their superstar status saying, “Who cares about them anymore?”
