LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton is taking her new humanitarian persona seriously, and her goodwill has started with men who have orange skin and green hair.

While clubbing at hot spot Cameo in Miami last weekend, Hilton came to the aid of an injured dancing Oompa-Loompa, according to a report in People.

During a performance from Jeff Beacher’s Madhouse that featured three Oompa-Loompa performers complete with trademark orange makeup and bright green hair, the crowd reportedly rushed the stage.

One of the Oompa-Loompas, Robin Sherwood, was severely cut during the crowd melee.

Sherwood is reportedly a friend of Hilton’s. The unlikely friends had met up earlier in the day during rehearsals. After his injury, the hotel heiress stuck by Sherwood until help arrived on the scene.

“Paris stayed back at the event when she heard that he was injured, to make sure he was OK. She was very concerned with his health. She didn’t leave until she knew that he was OK,” Mike Heller of Talent Resources, who booked the event, told People.

Another Cameo patron told People, “Yes, Paris Hilton stayed with him until an ambulance came to take care of him... Paris was great, she was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians.”

Luckily, Sherwood’s injuries reportedly only required stitches, allowing Hilton’s Oompa-Loompa friend to dance another dance.
