Authorities say suspect opened fire during child's birthday party.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Pennsylvania authorities arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with a triple killing Sunday in northern Virginia.

The suspect is identifed as Anastacio Sanchez-Miranda.

According to police in Prince William County, Va., a gunman shot five people at a child's birthday party Sunday. Two men and a woman were killed. Two others were wounded, one critically.

Five children in the house at the time were unharmed.

Police in Virginia notified authorities in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., that the suspect may have fled to his sister's house there. He was arrested in Pennsylvania.

Police in Virginia think the intended victim was the mother of his children. She was in the house at the time of the shootings but was not hurt.
