On the surface, he sounds as sleazy as Jude Law. But hold your hurls, girls! Ethan Hawke did not leave Uma Thurman for their nanny.

According to Gatecrasher, Ethan’s recently revealed, super-secret relationship with the woman who used to care for his kids started after he and Uma divorced.

"She had nothing to do with the divorce, and they started seeing each other after she was no longer the children's nanny," a friend of the nanny’s told the newspaper. (Gatecrasher identifies the nanny only as “Ryan.”)

According to an unknown friend of Ethan’s, the mysterious “Ryan” respectfully waited about a year after her former employer’s marriage ended before she confessed her feelings. "They are incredibly in love," the friend confirmed.

Why are we hearing about this only now? According to another Ethan associate, "They've been keeping a lid on this for some time."

Martha Stewart is Sirius about Christmas trees
Turns out the Martha Stewart featured in Macy’s Christmas commercials is no exaggeration.

As producer Gary “Baba Booey” Dell'Abate shared on the Howard Stern Show, the home-making doyenne’s penchant for having everything just so spilled out at Sirius Satellite Radio, when she insisted on completely redoing the lobby’s unacceptable Christmas tree.

Martha, who helms her own Sirius station, brought in her team for the massive redecorating, Gary said. Personalized ornaments include the Sirius logo dog, and chocolate likenesses of Howard Stern and his fiancée, Beth Ostrosky.

Will Smith compares daughter to Paris
Will Smith gave his daughter a questionable compliment while gushing over her acting abilities to People.

Discussing his 9-year-old son and “Pursuit of Happyness” co-star, Will told the magazine, “Jaden is [like] Johnny Depp.” How’s that? "He just wants to do good work. He loves acting, he just wants to make good movies.”

Regarding his 7-year-old daughter and co-star in his upcoming film “I Am Legend,” Will continued, "Willow is Paris Hilton." HOW’S THAT?! "Willow wants to be on TV."

Ooooh … phew!

"You don't work with Willow," Will said. "You work for Willow."

According to Daddy, Willow also exhibits qualities one doesn’t associate with the aforementioned heirhead — namely, Willow’s willingness to work hard. While filming in freezing temperatures, the daring daughter remained determined to finish her scenes.

"Willow was out there and she has her stuff on and she's cold and she's getting a little irritable. And she looks at me and says, "Daddy, I don't care how low it goes. I'm going to finish,'” Will related. "I was like, 'Wow, that's good, baby, because Daddy's leaving if it goes any lower then that.’"

Dish on the fly
It was mall security to the rescue when mobbed Vanessa Hudgens wanted out of Macy’s — fast! TMZ reports that, like the recent Britney Spears melee at Target, Vanessa required a small platoon of uniformed guards to escort her to her car in the Westfield Fashion Square parking lot in Sherman Oaks, Calif. … Some of these things belong together, or so it seems for business partners Jenna Jameson and Richie Rich, who launch their New York City bar/clothing store in 2008, reports the New York Post’s Page Six. The ex-porn star and designer are keeping the exact location on the down low, though according to Richie, “It used to be a whorehouse." … Turns out Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz isn’t a big spaz, at least where girlfriend Ashlee Simpson is concerned. Rush & Molloy report that despite rumors, Pete never filed a filed a cease-and-desist order against metal band Neurosonic for the group’s allegedly Ashlee-bashing tune. "I would never try to censor someone,” Pete told R&M. “The truth is I have never heard of this band or this song."
