“She thinks she’s a huge star. She thinks everyone is dying to read about her, but she’s lost her fan base. Her decisions are being driven by cash, not repairing her image,” said a source who was approached about buying the pics.
Although her photos didn't earn her any money (and her rep denies the entire incident), word is that her Black Friday shopping trip did. Lohan was photographed shopping at an Armani Exchange and Intermix store in Manhattan on Nov. 23, and a source close to the rehabbed starlet says the trip wasn't just pre-arranged to give the paparazzi a heads up, she was paid for the visit, too. “Seems like everything Lindsay does is to make money,” said the disillusioned source.
Nicole Kidman’s no “mommy”
For years Nicole Kidman remained tight-lipped about her family and personal life, but in recent months the former Mrs. Cruise has opened up about the difficult circumstances of her divorce and current marriage. And most recently, she talked about her kids to British channel GMTV. “They don’t call me Mommy … sometimes they call me Nicole,” Kidman told her interviewer. In case you’re wondering, sources close to the kids — Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12 — say that they call Tom Cruise “dad.”
Box-office predictions
It’s difficult to predict just which movie will take the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend. “Awake,” a thriller starring Hayden Christensen and Jessica Alba has a wide-release opening, but one of the most buzz-worthy movies is “The Savages,” starring Laura Linney and the always brilliant Philip Seymour Hoffman, which only has a limited release. While I think “The Savages” will do well, I think its limited release will allow last week’s winner, “Enchanted,” to keep the top spot.
