“The Namesake” — Director Mira Nair presents a touching saga about a family from India acclimating to life in the United States. Starring Kal Penn, the film follows two generations of an immigrant family as parents and son clash over their heritage and the new ways of life in America. The DVD has deleted scenes, making-of segments and commentary from Nair. DVD, $27.98. (20th Century Fox)
“I Know Who Killed Me” — Lindsay Lohan puts another stake in her career with duel roles in this laughable thriller, playing a small-town girl abducted by a psychopath and her subsequent alter ego, a stripper who’s missing body parts. “Hot Rod” — An amateur stuntman (Andy Samberg) plans a daring motorcycle jump to raise funds for a heart operation for his step-dad (Ian McShane), an abusive bully the young hero wants to heal so he can kick the stuffing out of him in a fight. “Bratz” — Just what the big-screen needed: a live-action version of the TV cartoon about the adventures of four very stylish teens. “Return to Never Land” — The sequel to the animated classic “Peter Pan” follows the adventures of the daughter of original heroine Wendy as she’s whisked away to Never Land and battles Captain Hook and his pirates to save Peter and fairy pal Tinkerbell. The new DVD edition has deleted sequences and a Tinkerbell game. DVD, $29.99. (Disney)
“Spice World” — With the Spice Girls reuniting for a concert tour, their 1997 feature film, following a comically fictionalized week in the lives of the fab five, gets a DVD makeover. The movie is accompanied by a bonus musical performance. DVD, $14.94. (Sony)
