Britney Spears is not pregnant and has not e-mailed a copy of an ultrasound to her friends, according to Spears’ friend/hanger-on Sam Lufti.

According to Perezhilton.com, Lufti sent a text message Wednesday to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show saying the story that In Touch magazine broke about Spears’ pregnancy is “fake. Completely fake.”

While Spears has yet to speak out herself on the subject (Lufti said that Spears was sleeping Wednesday; she was up all night shooting her new video), sources close to Spears say they believe she definitely is not pregnant: Spears hasn’t seen the alleged father of the alleged baby in months, and she just had liposuction procedures two weeks ago in Las Vegas. “She wouldn’t be allowed to have the procedure if she was pregnant,” the source says.

In Touch magazine’s story early Wednesday claimed the pop star was four weeks pregnant with music producer J.R. Rotem’s child.

Access Hollywood reports that Lufti also issued a statement to People, telling the magazine Spears “laughed at it” when she heard the latest rumor, but said she likely wouldn’t be issuing any comment herself.

“If she were to give a statement about every lie, she’d be giving statements forever,” Lufti told People.

According to In Touch, on Nov. 14, Britney “confided to her friends in e-mails” that she was pregnant with Rotem’s child. Two days later, she e-mailed a copy of the ultrasound to her friends, In Touch claimed.

In Touch also claimed to have confirmation from Rotem.

“It’s true,” the magazine claims Rotem told them exclusively.

This isn’t the first time Spears and friends have used Seacrest to get their message across.

On Halloween, Seacrest got Spears, Lufti and pal Alli Sims on the phone for a quick interview about her new CD, her Halloween plans and how she deals with the tabloids.

Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been wrangling in court lately over custody issues regarding their two children together. The couple’s divorce was final in July.
