LOS VEGAS - Wayne Newton will not be showing off his fancy footwork on the finale to “Dancing with the Stars,” according to People.

The Las Vegas singing legend has been diagnosed with a cardiomyopathy, which according to the American Heart Association happens when the heart muscle becomes inflamed and doesn’t work as well.

Don’t worry Wayne fans, the crooner told People he is “going to be just fine.”

While Wayne won’t be dancing on the ABC show’s finale, he will be in attendance.

“This is just another little bump in the road,” Newton said of his condition. “The doctors are a little more concerned than I am. Part of their concern is that I feel so good — I’m not taking this lightly.”

Wayne is expected to be back to full heath within two months, People reports and he will perform on some of the “Dancing” tour he said.

As a result of his condition Wayne pulled out of a two-month engagement at Las Vegas establishment, Harrahs.

“I really want to apologize to the fans that were going to see me in those shows,” he said. “I’m terribly apologetic. And for those who want to paint this situation with a black brush, they’re not going to get their wish. I’m going to be fine.”
