LOS ANGELES - Lindsay Lohan has backed out of hosting a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas according to US Weekly.

A rep for the “I Know Who Killed Me” star confirmed to the magazine that the actress will not host the New Year’s Eve event at LAX nightclub at the Luxor hotel.

Lindsay is currently focusing “on her work and sobriety,” her rep said.

Lindsay was originally booked to celebrate her 21st birthday on July 2, at PURE, a sister club of LAX. Instead, she spent the time with friends at a party in Malibu. She was living at the rehab facility Promises, also in Malibu, at the time.

Despite the cancellation of her appearance at the New Year’s Eve soiree, a deal between Lindsay and the club remains in place, a source told US.

“They’ll both wait for a day,” the source said.

As for when the event might happen, the source said it could be “another year from now.”
