Lights. Camera. Lohans. For those wanting to see more of the Lohan clan, mom Dina will begin filming her new reality series on October 30 for E!, the Lohan matriarch told People.
The first shoots for the as yet untitled show, which will also star Lindsay’s little sister/aspiring starlet Ali, will be filmed in New York City and Long Island, N.Y.
“There are so many misconceptions about me and my family,” Dina told People of her motives for heading to reality TV. “I’m setting the record straight.”
Dina, who also serves as the show’s executive producer, said she hopes the series will serve as an example to other single working moms.
“It’s about empowering women to be successful single mothers. (It’s) about being in the limelight without compromising motherhood,” she told People. “It’s about what I do, how you can be successful, and be a single mom and fulfilling your kids’ dreams. Working is my sole source of income.”
So what exactly will Dina be doing to achieve her goal of empowerment?

“It won’t just be following my family around like other shows,” she added. “It’ll show me cultivating careers, going to soccer practice. I’m a big supporter of domestic violence charities, so they’ll show that. Then they’ll show (my son) Cody at soccer practice, Ali going to school and in the studio. It’ll encompass everything. You’ll see me having five business meetings in the city.”
But will viewers see the most famous Lohan of all?
“Lindsay is a family member and will lend a helping hand if Ali asks her, when she’s in the recording studio,” Dina said.
