LOS ANGELES - For the second night in a row, Marie Osmond’s fainting spell was a major point of talk backstage. According to the dancer herself, her fall during the judge’s critique was a rough one.

“I hit my head pretty hard last night,” Osmond told “Access Hollywood.”

“The producers were saying that because the camera was on Len, when she fell, all they heard was the bang as the microphone recorded (Marie) hitting the ground,” Osmond’s “Dancing” partner Jonathan Roberts added.

Osmond said she now suspects that the fires may have contributed to her temporary loss of consciousness.

“The air quality is really bad and I have allergies really bad so maybe that was it,” she said. “I am a singer. I don’t know why I should have been winded. We have done it six, seven times in a row no problem.”

Though some reports have suggested Osmond’s fainting spell had to do with her diet — one which has seen her lose 20 pounds, Osmond said that is simply not the case.

“Absolutely not!” she protested. “Honestly, I have never felt better in my life. I am in better shape than I ever have been and there has been so many things going, it is so funny how rumors start. No diet pills.”

She did admit however, that the dissolution of her 20-year marriage to record producer Brian Blosil has been stressful.

“I am going through a lot right now,” she sighed. “I am divorced, but there are still things that aren’t finished, but everybody is under a lot of stress.”

Since Monday’s broadcast, Osmond reviewed footage of her live, fainting spell.

“It is one of those moments where it is like ‘oh brother!’” she said. “I was so blown away with all the e-mails and the response. It really touched me sincerely... It makes you want to go out and just kick some booty next week and make everybody proud but I am fine.”
