Playboy says it wouldn’t turn Britney down

No offer made, but Hefner would consider Spears sometime down the line

LOS ANGELES - Hugh Hefner may not necessarily want Britney Spears as one of his “Girls Next Door,” but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t want in her his magazine.

Contrary to what other outlets are reporting, Britney was not rejected by Playboy.

In fact, Hef is all for Britney in the buff inside the pages of his mag.

A rep for Playboy told Access Hollywood that while no official offer was made to Britney, the magazine would be happy to feature her at some point down the line.

According to a report by Fox News’ Pop Tarts column, a rep for the magazine said that Hef would consider putting Britney in Playboy when “she can put herself back on the road to recovery.”
