‘Gossip’ item: Carrie Underwood has new man

LOS ANGELES - Former “American Idol” champ Carrie Underwood has a new man according to reports.

The “Before He Cheats” singer is reportedly seeing “Gossip Girl” guy candy Chace Crawford.

“He’s really cute,” Underwood told People recently. “I’ve met him and he seems like a really nice guy. He’s got cool hair, he’s a nice height and he just has beautiful eyes.”

The attractive 20-something Southerners have been spotted hanging out on both coasts.

A source told US Weekly 24-year-old Underwood and 22-year-old Crawford met in Los Angeles at Sunset Boulevard celebrity hotspot Hyde when Chace reportedly walked over to the pop-country cutie and introduced himself.

Recently, the two have been seen hanging out in New York City.

Underwood parted ways with her former beau Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, in July, according to US Weekly.

The 6-foot-tall actor is somewhat of a newcomer to Hollywood, but his star is very much on the rise thanks to his role as Nate Archibald on “Gossip Girl.”

A rep for Underwood was not available at press time for comment.
