Chris Webber is weighing whether to accept a multi-million offer from a Greek professional club or try to hook on with an NBA team, ESPN reported Sunday.
Webber, who played last season with the Detroit Pistons and is a free agent, has an offer worth between $10 million-$12 million from Olympiakos, ESPN reported.
Webber has previously said he would like to return to the Pistons, and he showed some interest in the Dallas Mavericks earlier in the offseason. But Detroit wants to wait until after training camp because of salary-cap ramifications, ESPN reported.
Olympiakos has three U.S. players already — Qyntel Woods, Lynn Greer and Lawrence Roberts — and one would have to be released to sign Webber, according to European rules.
