Meet the TODAY show’s new dancing queen
With viewers’ votes, Hoda Kotb two-stepped her way to victory!
updated 9:19 p.m. ET Sept. 23, 2007
Natalie might have tantalized you with her tango. Tiki probably caught your eye with the cha-cha, and Ann got you clapping with her hip-hop moves. But it was Hoda who dazzled viewers with her impressive country two-step.
In the weeklong dance-off, the TODAY team kicked up their heels, danced and then turned over the vote to viewers — who were swept away by Hoda’s moves. For her first time performing the two-step, Hoda partnered with Robert Royston, four-time world champion of country dance. Her winning song? “Redneck Woman” by Gretchen Wilson.
