An Emmy Awards show source told Usmagazine.com that Fox is “in negotiations” with Britney Spears to make an appearance on Sunday’s telecast. “The idea is to have her come on and apologize for the VMAs,” the source reportedly said. “She’s weighing the offer.” A source close to Spears reportedly told US, “I can’t say this is 100 percent not true...[but] if she is doing anything for the Emmys then it’s not going through the official channels.”

K-Fed gets cozy
Kevin Federline hit LA’s Vice nightclub last night for a social networking club’s launch party, E! Online’s Marc Malkin reports. Britney’s ex reportedly hung out with Hugh Hefner at the club, and looked “rather cozy” as he danced with 39-year-old “Baywatch” beauty, Traci Bingham. “She kissed him on the cheek,” an onlooker reportedly said.

Gentleman Brad
Brad Pitt delighted the manager of NYC’s Patek Philippe boutique when he purchased a watch, The NY Daily News’ Rush & Molloy reports, but it was more than the purchase that endeared Pitt to the manager. “He is the most polite, well-mannered, unpretentious customer, and we have lots of celebrity clients,” he reportedly said. “He is a gentleman, ‘true and true.‘”

And finally, Eminem is working on his first studio album in three years, Billboard reports.
