NEW YORK - ABC has unveiled the new official promo shot for “The View,” and “Access Hollywood” has confirmed the show’s first guest of the season.

New addition Whoopi Goldberg looks right at home in the photo, alongside returning co-hosts Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and a very pregnant Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Whoopi, known for her sharp humor and wit, wasted no time in cracking jokes with her co-stars, a source reportedly told People.

According to the source, a person watching the shoot said, “You all look great. Like ‘Sex and the City,’ ” and Whoopi responded, “More like ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ ” causing everyone to burst into laughter.

The laughs are sure to continue when the show returns for its 11th season on Sept. 4, as “Access” confirms that Danny DeVito will be Whoopi’s very first guest.

DeVito made headlines with his appearance on the show last November, when he famously seemed a bit “inebriated” after a night of self-confessed drinking with pal George Clooney. His amusing, frequently “bleeped” appearance even prompted him to launch his own brand of Limoncello, which he and Clooney said was their drink of choice on that fateful night.

Other guests scheduled to appear the week of Sept. 4 include Clive Owen, Regis Philbin, Larry David, Tim Gunn, Rachael Ray, and “High School Musical 2” star Monique Coleman.

As for who will fill the fifth vacant seat left open by the departures of both Star Jones Reynolds and Rosie O’Donnell, that remains to be seen.

While actress-comedian Sherri Shepherd recently told “Access” that she’s still “in talks” about potentially joining the show, an ABC insider reportedly told People that finding a fifth person may take a while ... and is not even a big priority at the moment.

“Right now, it’s all about Whoopi,” the source reportedly said.
