LOS ANGELES - Merv Griffin is in the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, according to KNBC News.
Last month, the game-show impresario was hospitalized for a recurrence of prostate cancer, which was discovered during a routine examination.
“I’d rather play ‘Jeopardy!’ than live it,” the 82-year-old Griffin said at the time. “I was ready for a vacation; however, this wasn’t the destination I had in mind.”
Griffin, a former band singer, invented and produced the popular game shows “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune.”
