LOS ANGELES - Eddie Murphy is engaged.
The star of such films as “Norbit” and “Dreamgirls” proposed to his girlfriend Tracey Edmonds according to OK! magazine.
Murphy began dating Edmonds, the ex-wife of music producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, 10 months ago, following a relationship with Spice Girl Mel B, with whom he fathered a baby girl.
OK! reports that Murphy proposed to Tracey with a Cartier yellow diamond ring weighing around 8 carats.
The couple will reportedly say their “I do’s” before year’s end.
Murphy’s divorce with Nicole Mitchell, the mother of five of his children, was made final in April 2006.
