NEW YORK - Gwyneth Paltrow may currently be using a cane due to an injury on her right knee, but nothing stopped the fashionista from showing off her long legs Thursday night in a super short mini-dress!

With an admirable outlook, Paltrow was out in New York on Thursday to support her friend, Estee Lauder’s granddaughter Aerin for the launch of her new perfume at Saks.

“This is a Stella McCartney dress,” Gwyneth said. “Tom Ford cane.”

That’s right, Paltrow was carrying a cane.

“I was upgraded to a cane today from crutches so I was very happy to say goodbye to my crutches this morning,” she told Access.

So what happened with her knee?

“I just kind of bashed it really hard into a chair, hard enough to break it and I didn’t realize it was broken so I kept working and exercising and everything and it turned out I needed surgery so I did that a month ago and I’m okay now ,” she explained.
