Madeline Zovodny

Associate professor of economics specializing in immigration

Madeline Zavodny is an associate professor with the Department of Economics at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga., and a research fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn, Germany.

A native of Tulsa, Okla., she received a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she also has been an associate professor of economics at Occidental College, a senior economist and policy advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and an economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Her research on the economics of immigration has been published in the Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Demography, Research in Labor Economics, Georgetown Public Policy Review, and Population Research and Policy Review.
