NEW YORK - Rosie O’Donnell updated her blog today for fans hoping she’ll be the next TV host to hear the famous phrase “Come On Down!” on the “The Price Is Right.”

“I don’t know if it’s going to work out,” she posted on her blog Rosie.com. “I love that show. I watched that show the entire 35 years that Bob Barker has hosted that show. I used to watch it with my nana. She loved it.

“I love it,” Rosie continued. “Frankly, talking to real people would be better than having to talk to celebrities so it would be good for me, but I don’t know if it would be right for them.”

Rosie also used her blog to clear up a remark she made on stage on the Cyndi Lauper “True Colors” tour that some interpreted as an attack against her former “View” colleagues, namely Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

“I said, “‘Oh, it’s so nice to be here with my gays I’ve been with the straights for six months, it’s tough, they’ll stab you in the back with a high heel,’” she recounted. “It’s funny. Believe me it got a big laugh.”

Rosie brought a special guest on her blog — wife Kelli who is still recovering after injuring her back from either hiking or tennis.

“My back is an inch better,” Kelli said.
