Eric and Danielle, the one "Amazing Race: All-Stars" couple who hadn't raced together before, won the million-dollar prize from the CBS reality show Sunday night.

Beauty queens Dustin and Kandice came in second, the highest-place ever reached by an all-female team, while cousins Charla and Mirna came in third.

The final episode began in Guam, and took the teams through Hawaii on their way back to a finale in San Francisco. At the finish line,  Eric said, "I'm so happy to be here with Danielle. From when I went through last time, coming in second, so close, to be in first is just unbelievable."

Eric and Danielle met while racing with other partners during season 9. Eric, a waiter from Florida, had raced with pal Jeremy, finishing in second place that season. New York bartender Danielle and best friend Dani were ousted earlier that season.

The "All-Stars" season included 11 familiar couples, including reality-show stalwarts Rob and Amber, as well as popular teams David and Mary, Uchenna and Joyce, and Oswald and Danny.
