Ashlee Simpson caught with rocker Wentz

LAS VEGAS - Has Ashlee Simpson found a new boy toy in Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz?

While the two have yet to admit they’re a couple, these photos obtained by Access Hollywood seem to tell a different story.

Ashlee, 22, and Pete, 27, were caught canoodling in a VIP booth at JET Nightclub inside the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas on Monday night.

In November, the Fall Out Boy bassist told People magazine that while “Ashlee is the sweetest girl ever,” the two were “just friends.”

He continued to dispel the relationship rumors in a February interview with Rolling Stone saying, “Maybe in a different universe, we’d be some hot couple, but not in this one.”

Earlier this week, Wentz announced the band was delaying their Honda Civic Tour due to “health issues.”

Hopefully, Ashlee’s infamous bout of “Saturday Night Live” acid reflux wasn’t still contagious.
