Do you know 'Paul Desmond'?

Photo used in apparent romance scam

Vickie Beebout of Porterville Calif. thought she was doing a favor for a man she met on the Internet. She thought she was in an online relationship and was engaged.

Angela Cater of Savannah, Ga. was in the exact same situation.

"Let's get married.  You know, I really love you.  I miss you," says Cater of her correspondence with her "fiance." "It's mushy, mushy all the time."

It turns out Angela and Vickie were talking to the same man — an international Internet thief.  Using someone else’s picture and calling himself "Paul Desmond," he had tricked them into accepting all his stuff, purchased with stolen credit cards, and had asked them to forward it to a store overseas.

This was the photo Vickie and Angela received. Can you identify the man in this photo? Let us know.

We'd like to thank a viewer named Linda who sent us a lead and helped us get more information on "Wendy Kenson."
