Elisabeth leaving ‘The View’? Access got the scoop from Barbara Walters about whether or not the rumors are true that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is leaving "The View." |
While the “American Idol” top 12 gave it their all on Tuesday night, as usual, Ryan Seacrest and the judges took the opportunity to turn the spotlight on themselves for a brief moment.
As Seacrest was interviewing Melinda Doolittle right before her performance, a viewer’s question ignited yet another made-for-TV spat between Ryan and Simon.
“We have a question from Georgia. What do you consider the hardest part of this contest?” Ryan asked Melinda.
“Wow. I would have to say the high heels and these dresses. I like my tennis shoes and my sweat pants. I’m sorry,” the “Idol” hopeful replied.
“Simon, any advice on the high heels?” Ryan asked, opening the floodgates for a typical snide Simon response.
“You should know, Ryan,” Cowell obliged.
“Stay out of my closet, Simon,” Ryan said, prompting Simon to take a swing at the softball Seacrest just lobbed to him.
“Well, come out,” Simon predictably panned.
“This is about the top 12. OK? Not your wishes,” Ryan replied.
