WASHINGTON - There's another possible GOP contender for the White House.

Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo is known for his opposition to abortion and illegal immigration. A campaign spokesman says he will push various conservative themes, to counter more moderate Republican candidates.

Tancredo will form a presidential exploratory committee this week, but won't be giving up his House seat. He joins a G-O-P field of potential 2008 candidates including Senator John McCain and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
