LOS ANGELES - When the nominations for the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards were revealed on Thursday morning, as usual, the announcements were filled with snubs and surprises, as well as several Globe newbies.

Among the most surprising stars to be left off the Golden list were “Blood Diamond” star Djimon Hounsou, “Desperate Housewives” star Teri Hatcher and Jamie Foxx, for his performance in “Dreamgirls.”

Even Matt Damon, who had two shots with “The Good Shepherd” and “The Departed,” felt the Golden snub.
