LOS ANGELES - Fox’s prime-time schedule will be looking a little less rich and happy.

The game show “The Rich List,” which aired only once, and the freshman comedy “Happy Hour” have been pulled from the schedule because of low ratings. A Fox spokesman declined Monday to say whether the programs would return, but their numbers made that prospect unlikely.

“The Rich List” was watched by 4.1 million viewers when it premiered last week, a fourth-place finish for its time period among the young adult viewers favored by advertisers.

The latest episode of “Happy Hour,” a buddy comedy starring John Sloan and Lex Medlin, ranked fifth in its time slot among those 18-to-49 viewers.

For this week, a new episode of “The O.C.” will fill the game show’s 9 p.m. ET Wednesday slot. The drama, which just started its fourth season, also will air a new episode in its regular 9 p.m. ET Thursday time period.

An episode of the Brad Garrett comedy “‘Till Death” will replace “Happy Hour” in its 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday slot.
