Nothing stronger than caffeine and sugar these days for Robin Williams! The brilliant comic looked healthy as he joked with Access Hollywood about the 60 days he spent in rehabilitation for alcohol abuse.
“I realized... you keep going with this, you’ll wake-up in a field with a small animal,” laughed Williams. “If you’re violating your standards faster than you can lower them, time to go away.”
But when it came to the help and encouragement he received during rehab, Williams was all gratitude, describing his experience as a “big wake-up call.”
While Williams promoted his new comedy, “Man Of The Year,” also starring Christopher Walken, he described the experience as great chemistry: “[Walken] would say things like ‘Today, I am an alligator.’ And you believe him.”
