There was big news on Wisteria Lane on Wednesday when "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross announced she was pregnant.

Access Hollywood's Billy Bush was with Marcia's good friend and co-star Eva Longoria to get the whole story.

Eva was hosting a glamorous gala for her charity, Padres Contra El Cancer, where Billy served as the emcee. Inside the event, hundreds joined in the fight to save lives, but on the red carpet beforehand, there was a celebration for one on the way.

"How did you find out Marcia Cross was pregnant? Did she call you?" Billy asked Eva.

"What do you mean? I don't know anything," a coy Eva said.

Marcia's good friend was careful not to divulge any secret information about her co-star until Billy reassured Eva that Marcia had already let the cat out of the bag.

"She released a statement. It's out," Billy insisted.

"Are you sure?" a suspicious Eva asked.

"I swear to God!" Billy laughed.

And then in true Eva fashion, she gave Billy all the details.

"I had everybody over for dinner. Marcia, Felicity [Huffman] and Brenda [Strong] came over and Marcia told us she had an announcement," Eva revealed.

"Did you know she was going to make an announcement?" Billy asked.

"No, but we were all suspecting it because she was acting funny and she had been sick a couple of times, so we were all like, 'She is pregnant,'" Eva explained. "And we couldn't be happier!"

Eva also revealed that "Desperate" creator Marc Cherry knew this was in the works.

"They are writing it in," Eva said.

"It's going to be part of the show?" Billy asked.

"Yep," Eva replied.

But who will be the lucky man on Wisteria?

"This Dr. Orson dude maybe?" Billy suggested.

"I don't know," Eva said. "Who knows who is going to knock her up on our show!"
