GOLDEN, Colo. - Vincent Margera, uncle of MTV’s “Viva La Bam” star Bam Margera, was formally charged Wednesday with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child.

Vincent Margera, 50, was freed after posting $50,000 bond, the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office said.

He was arrested by Lakewood police Friday night at a mall skateboarding park where he had made a promotional appearance. A city spokeswoman has said he is accused of inappropriately touching two children during the event.

Vincent Margera was represented Wednesday by attorney Pamela Mackey, who was part of the team that defended NBA player Kobe Bryant against allegations of sexual assault.

A motions hearing was scheduled for Monday on a request that he be allowed to return to his home in Pennsylvania and to travel for business.
