NEW YORK - Dave Chappelle and Maya Angelou. Quentin Tarantino and Fiona Apple. Eddie Vedder and Laird Hamilton.
Those are some of the dynamic duos to be featured in the second season of Sundance Channel's "Iconoclasts," premiering Oct. 26 (9 p.m. EDT), the channel announced Tuesday.
Each one-hour episode in the six-part series, executive produced by Robert Redford, pairs "two leading innovators from different fields who come together to discuss their passions and creative processes," the channel said.
Other high-profile matchups include Paul Simon and "Saturday Night Live" creator Lorne Michaels; dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and chef Alice Waters; and actress Isabella Rossellini and inventor Dean Kamen.
"These individuals have made a significant impact in their respective fields, and when combined, create endless possibilities for great storytelling," said Sundance Channel CEO Larry Aidem in a statement.
