TYLER, Texas - The owner of a car dealership was arrested after allegedly attacking a customer with a machete, police said.

Robert Parker, 73, was charged Monday with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and being held on $50,000 bond, according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph.

The alleged victim, Gerald Davis, 53, of Tyler, arrived at the police department — with the machete — to say he’d been attacked. Davis said he stopped at Time Auto Sales to pick up license plates for a vehicle he’d bought.
