MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A waitress in Memphis is accusing country singer Hank Williams Junior of harassing her.
She says he swore at her, tried to kiss her and choked her. Holly Hornbeak says the incident happened last Saturday night in the lobby of the Peabody Hotel where Williams is staying and where she works. He’s been in Memphis since his two daughters were badly injured in a nearby car accident last week.
Williams’ publicist says the performer has not been contacted by police. He calls the allegations shocking and says Williams remains a guest at the hotel. He adds “if any issues were problematic one would think that the hotel would ask him to check out or leave the premises. Neither has happened.”
