LOS ANGELES - Jack Black has tied the knot.
The star of “School of Rock” and “King Kong” married musician Tanya Haden recently in the coastal town of Big Sur, the bride’s stepmother told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
“A couple of weeks ago they eloped and they had a party last weekend,” said Ruth Cameron, the wife of jazz musician Charlie Haden.
Black’s publicist, Matthew Labov, declined to confirm or deny news of the marriage, which was first reported on People magazine’s Web site.
“They love each other very much. We’re thrilled,” Charlie Haden told People.
Black, 36, and Haden, 34, met when they were students at Crossroads School, a private high school in Santa Monica.
