SANTA FE, N.M. - A woman no longer has the court’s protection against David Letterman, who she claims is using code words during his program to say he wants to marry her and train her as his co-host.
A judge in New Mexico has lifted the restraining order he granted to Colleen Nestler. She had said that without it, Letterman can come for her or send one of his “many accomplices.”
In a request filed earlier this month, she alleged that Letterman has forced her to go bankrupt, and that he caused her ”mental cruelty” and ”sleep deprivation.” She asked that Letterman stay at least three yards away, and that he not think about her.
